This is just something I can't get my head around..... no matter how many books I read or films I watch.

And so important to remember, I think otherwise, we can never learn, and fail to be grateful for all those who sacrificed so much for the freedoms that we take as our right these days.
I'll never 'get it' either I have, like you, read and watched and even visited a camp in germany. I don't understand how anyone can have been so cruel and I don't believe that no one knew about it!

It is important to remeber and hope that the same mistakes anre never made again!
It is unfathomable, isn't it? My dad was with some of the US troops who liberated the concentration camps, and he wouldn't even speak of it.
