Toothy peg update: 

I only had 2 out, 1 wisdom & his neighbour on the left hand side. The right side is more complicated so I have to wait for an appointment with the specialist. 

It didn't hurt too much & I was back at work the next day.... just a bit sore & puffy! 

The only problem is..... I still have toothache! I now need to get an appointment asap to sort out the top tooth which I'm sure is missing a filling :(

 I'm so hungry!!!

I haven't eaten a full meal since Sunday...... I'm dreaming of roast chicken, pizza, pie & mash, chips..... the list goes on!!!

Hopefully it'll get better soon so I can fill my face!!!

Out of action....

Thanks to everyone who left a comment on my last post...... tomorrow is the last day & I'll be using the random number thingy on Thursday to pick a winner.

However I won't be posting your goodies this week, I think I'm going to be out of action for a while.

You see I've had a niggle in my back teeth for a while then on Sunday evening I got TOOTHACHE..... yep it was that bad!!

So Monday saw me heading to the emergency dentist at the hospital thinking they would just whip it out & everything would be fine...... but no that's not how 2012 is going for me.... it turns out it's a wisdom tooth that's infected the one beside it too. I also have one on the other side that's ok for now but I'm told it'll get bad very soon.

So on Thursday morning I will have both bottom wisdom teeth removed...... plus they need to remove the ones beside them first to get access to them!

I was planning on popping in, getting 4 teeth out then hopping on the bus to work but I've been told so many horror stories I think I might have to take the day off....... it's been 30 years since I had a tooth pulled out, I thought they still did gas! I've been told that a couple of injections is all I need.

So that's my week sorted then!

The pain can't be as bad as it has been for the last 2 days :(

I promise I'll post next week when hopefully I'll start to feel a bit more human.

Today is the 4th anniversary of my blog...

Yes 4 years ago today I decided to dip my toe in the water & hey I'm still here!!!

Since blogging I've become a whizz on the laptop..... well maybe not that good but much, much better then I was! 

I've also become more crafty...... but in a good way! 

It's given me the kick up the bum to sell my things & attend fairs etc.

 I can share my love of vintage, WW2, nerdy history & of course cats!!!

Crikey..... it's over!

It was a lovely day out but I'm glad it's over..... does anyone else find fairs hard work?

The stress of carrying stock, unpacking, pricing, making it look pretty, the panic of 'what if I sell nothing?, packing up, loading into taxis...... it's all a bit much!!

I'm starting planning for Christmas today ...... *gulp*..... it's not that long away!

I have 10 weeks until the final Crikey! It's Vintage of 2012..... I WILL not leave it until the last minute!!!

My goodies...

Another china dog..... it looks just like my parents dog which is good because it was their birthday money that brought it!! I feel another collection coming on :)

A perfect Woods Ware Iris jug....... someone else had a Jasmine one but that was nearly £10 which I though was expensive!

It's been a great weekend off.... shame it's gone so fast :(

It's been a busy week but I think I'm ready!

I still have books from 2 years ago, I'm not reading so much which is a shame as I used to read at least 2 books a month!

What happened? The iphone & ipad came along :(

I knitted a fluffy kitten from the best in show book!

So autumn is here, my favourite season of the year. I find it more up lifting then spring..... it makes me want to do things, sort things..... like a fresh start. Fingers crossed this will give me the boost I need.

So I'm starting with updating my blog........ Hope you like it!

Four years ago today I lost my lovely Charlie

The reason why I started blogging...... so I guess that means it'll soon be my anniversary, which surely mean a giveaway..... right??!!

Quick update on the job front..... I'm staying at Laura Ashley!

John Lewis did offer me full time sales assistant but the conditions & hours were very poor so I turned it down. So for now I stay put....... hopefully I can start to settle down. 

It's been a stressful year!!

August 2012

Another month done!

August was a bad month on the making front & with Crikey under 2 weeks away I'm in a panic!!

I don't think I'll have lots of new stock for this one..... I do have loads of cherry brooches as they sell like hot cakes!

August started with me feeling under the weather due to losing Ted & finished about the same way. I was hoping that if I gave myself time I would get over it quicker but it just seems to be dragging on.

I've been enjoying some time away from work & I thought I would get my mojo back but all I've done is sleep!

Back to work tomorrow, I hope to stop all my bad habits & try to get back to normal..... I've been playing too many games on FB & my iPad..... it's a good way to switch off & not think.

As some of you know I've been looking at cats on the Internet like a crazy women! Last week I went to the RSPCA to fill in the forms & I had a house visit on Wednesday..... I passed with flying colours & they said I could have any cat/kitten I wanted.

On Thursday I spotted 3 kittens free to a good home on Gumtree, after making a phone call my parents & I set off for the hour long drive. Not sure why as I felt funny about it & deep down I knew it wasn't right.

The kittens were lovely but I felt nothing..... I was waiting for that tummy feeling but it never came. I felt so guilty for wasting peoples time but I walked away empty handed.

I've now stopped looking, although the house feels very empty I realise the time isn't right.

It's Make, Do and Mend again on Tuesday..... we're dusting off our needles for the Innocent Big Knit, it comes around quick!

Anyone else knitting hats this year?
